Together we've done a lot of good work in 2020 to build understanding among all people. Starting with our February conference "Transforming Bigotry and Hate: From Awareness to Action," continuing with our first-ever "JAM Slam" in September featuring artistic expressions on the theme "What do I put my faith in now?" and finally our most recent roundtable series, "Racism and the Abrahamic Faiths," we have been inspired by the participation and contributions of so many people who have joined us on our mission of bringing people together.
Building on this work, we eagerly move into 2021 with two new 3-part roundtable series created to continue the opening of our perspectives and understanding. In January, February and March we will delve into the theme of "Intensifying the Light," with inspiring speakers scheduled for each session. A spring series is in development, and promises to offer continuing inspiration as we exchange our thoughts, ideas, and perspectives. We are planning a program to commemorate 9/11 from an interfaith perspective, and will give thanks as JAM & ALL Interfaith celebrates its 20th anniversary.

The world’s great faith traditions teach us that even in the midst of darkness, light is always present. From the star atop the Christmas tree to the candles of Hanukkah, the lights of Diwali and the candles of Kwanzaa, we are called upon to remember that Divine Light is in each of us and in every part of Creation.
In this dark time of the year, and in times that feel uncertain, it is even more important for us to intensify the Light within us, so that we can see and honor that which shines in each other, despite our differences.
The format for these events is similar to that of our fall series. We will gather online via Zoom, and the topic will be introduced by a guest speaker. Then we will break into small, facilitated "roundtable" groups. In this safe space we will share our experiences, observations and responses to the speaker's remarks.
These online gatherings are free with registration. Please join us, and share with friends!
